VQ Creative is the brainchild of Vince Quintero. Vince Quintero has worked in the music industry for major record labels and with recording artists in an array of capacities for over 9 years. His roles include strategic marketing/cross promotion, A&R, music supervision, music licensing and artist/producer management.
Vince graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics and a minor in Sports Management. After spending 3 years doing A&R for Columbia and MCA Records, he spent 2 ½ years doing strategic marketing and music licensing for Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records. After leaving IGA, Vince decided to plant the seed for what is now VQ Creative.
Shortly after leaving IGA, he was asked to manage multi-platinum producer Jay Baumgardner (whose credits include Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm, Hoobastank, Evanessence, etc.) as well as Jay’s top tier commercial recording studio NRG Recording Studios.
After managing Jay and NRG he returned to work in music licensing and supervision. Vince went to Bunim-Murray Productions where he initially scouted and signed major and independent artists to their music library. He soon found himself music supervising MTV’s Real World Las Vegas Reunited and Lifetime Network’s America’s Psychic Challenge.
While accepting job offers he couldn’t refuse Vince developed artists and partnered major label recording artists with fortune 500 companies. Some of his work includes: partnering Robin Thicke with People Magazine and Canon Camera; Fall Out Boy with the Grammies, Mark Cosmetics, and People Magazine; Jesse McCartney with Target and Teen People; and Drive Thru Records with Amp’d Mobile. He also conceived and executed A list music events with companies such as Jagermeister, Corazon Tequila, Synthesis Magazine, Coors Beer, and 42 Below Vodka.
Vince Quntero has signed the master and sync rights of over two dozen prominent musicians’ music to VQ Creative. Due to this, VQ Creative is now a one stop shop where Film, TV, and Video Games can acquire multi-genre top notch music assets without having to deal with more than one person or company. VQ Creative can also acquire, negotiate and deliver recording artists from superstar/major label to wedding bands and everything in-between for special event performances, hosting or corporate cross promotions.
